“Thousands of patients need blood transfusion. Just three teaspoon of blood can save the life of a premature baby. Every drop counts, one single donation can be split into three separate parts. Doing our little bit for society with the motto `DONATE BLOOD, DONATE LIFE `the Government college of engineering aurangabad recently organised Blood donation camp where more than 151 donors donated blood.”
“They require love, care, affection, warmth and, very importantly, education. Volunteers joining the orphanage volunteer program in Government college of Engineering- Aurangabad provide support to these orphan children.Just spend 2 hours on weekends with them. Receive their warmth and affection. Working for children is a truly fulfilling and enriching experience.”
“Let's fill our homes with prayers and lights" . With this aim, student at Kancheepuram visited an orphanage to celebrate Diwali. Apart from understanding their lifestyle, they also tried to identify day-to-day problems faced by them. Food distribution was done at the end of the day.
“God has given us two hands: one to receive with and the other to give with.” Inspired by this, members of LIGHT Gaya conducted a visit to The Gaya Muslim Orphanage. The children there were so much excited to see the members and they presented some cultural performances for the members. The members conducted various events such as yoga lessons, painting, singing, and some sporting events also for different age groups. Races, frog races and musical chairs was conducted for the children. At the end of the joyous and eventful day, prize distribution was done and chocolates and goodies were distributed to children.
